Low-Volume Production

Rapid and Adaptable Low-Volume Manufacturing

We partner with companies that need low-volume initial production, whether as a bridge to full-scale manufacturing or as their long-term solution. Our adaptable manufacturing approach and expertise in product development helps minimize the risks when transitioning from engineering prototypes to a repeatable process. We are here to support your growth by effectively transferring the learning from initial production to large-scale manufacturing at the right time.

We’re currently pursuing our ISO 13485 certification for our production space. Reach out if you have any questions!

Production Spaces

ISO 7 Clean Rooms and Internal Quality Management System

Many projects necessitate certified clean rooms to prevent contamination of components. To enable this work, we have implemented an electronic Quality Management System (eQMS) across our production operations and are currently pursuing ISO 13485 certification. We also have over 1,500 sq. ft. of ISO 7 certified clean room space to augment our other controlled manufacturing space.

In-House Capabilities

Advanced Assembly to Final Testing

Our in-house manufacturing capabilities allow us to reduce lead times and cost throughout the production process. While we maintain strong in-house capabilities, we also leverage a network of approved domestic and international vendors for specialized processes.

Advanced Assembly to Final Testing

Case Study

Organ-On-A-Chip Production

We partnered with the startup, Javelin Biotech, to develop the hardware platform that accompanies the biology approach that was invented by their team. Working directly with their biologists, we accelerated their design cycle for chip iterations from six months down to two weeks. We did this by using in-house CNC machining and diffusion bonding to rapidly create consumable prototypes to optimize chip features. We then converted the prototyped chip to injection-molded, laser-welded assemblies. We are now performing production assembly of the chips, the controllers, and two versions of their capital unit in our in-house production space.
